Final reports submitted to the Information Security Oversight Office (ISOO) by federal agencies with original classification authority for the 2022 Federal Classification Guidance Review (FCGR) are now available on ISOO’s webpage for the 2022 FCGR. Pursuant to Executive Order (E.O.) 13526, Section 1.9, at least every five years, agencies with original classification authority (OCA) must complete a periodic review to ensure that their classification guidance remains current, accurate, and appropriate as necessary to protect national security. The initial tasking memorandum for the 2022 FCGR was issued on December 9, 2021, to Senior Agency Officials with OCAs on December 9, 2021, by then ISOO Director Mark Bradley.
