The Information Security Oversight Office (ISOO) is seeking a Chief of Staff, GS-0343-15, Supervisory Management and Program Analyst, to serve as the direct supervisor of ISOO’s administrative team. A component of the National Archives and Records Administration (NARA), ISOO is located at Archives 1, 700 Pennsylvania Avenue, NW, Washington, DC. As well as keeping the ISOO staff informed of NARA plans, policies, procedures, events, and program activities, the ISOO Chief of Staff will:
- Independently coordinate, plan, and lead the administrative support staff to carry out day-to-day operations;
- Lead the development and implementation of new or improved practices, methods, or concepts related to ISOO’s program operations;
- Ensure a high-level of communication within ISOO by supporting communication activities with ISOO component heads, managers, supervisors, administrative staff, and external stakeholders;
- Support advisory committees, panels, and boards established by executive order, statute, or regulation, including the Interagency Security Classification Appeals Panel, the Public Interest Declassification Board, and the Controlled Unclassified Information Advisory Council.
