The National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) has announced an opening for the position of Senior Program Analyst to serve as Team Lead in the Controlled Unclassified Information Office (CUIO), which is a component of the Information Security Oversight Office (ISOO) located at NARA Archives 1, 700 Pennsylvania Avenue, NW, Washington, DC.
The GS-14 Senior Program Analyst for the CUIO in ISOO will:
- Formulate and develop policy positions, including analysis of law, regulation, and Government-wide policy, as they relate to the CUI program, for consideration by senior leadership.
- Collect, update, and develop materials to keep Department management apprised of significant activity with agency controlled unclassified information programs.
- Analyze agency CUI policies and procedures to ensure compliance with Executive Order 13556 and its implementing directive.
The Information Security Oversight Office is responsible to the President for policy and oversight of the Government-wide security classification system under Executive Order 13526, Controlled Unclassified Information under Executive Order 13556, and the National Industrial Security Program under Executive Order 12829, as amended. ISOO also provides logistical and administrative support to the Interagency Security Classification Appeals Panel and the Public Interest Declassification Board. ISOO receives policy and program guidance from the National Security Council.
